The Department for Children, Schools and Families Young Persons Gateway is the main focal point for information and websites relating to young people. Locate 14-19 opportunities in Lancashire, Blackburn with Darwen and Blackpool. Accrington & Rossendale College Blackburn College say they are, "one
of the finest further/higher education establishments in the country. The
college offers a range of courses
including GCSE's, A-Levels, BTECs, NVQs and also caters for Higher
Education and Mature Students." Through programmes such the Modern
Apprenticeship, the College also give "students the opportunity
to integrate work and study." Myerscough College "offers a lively and friendly atmosphere and has been providing education and training for over 100 years" .They aim to "provide high quality education and training together with research and advisory facilities for the land based and related industries in the rural and other communities" that they serve.
