4Mation have been around since 1983. They continue to produce quality educational software. Granny's Garden, Superspell and the Maths Circus suite of programs are just some of their tremendous output. Have a look at the reviews on this site.

Discovery Educational Software  

Discovery Educational Software, founded in 1998, is based in Scotland near Dundee, the city of Discovery.   They  specialise in multimedia software for young learners of Modern languages.   Their stated aim is to put fun into learning languages by using games, which entertain as well as instruct.

The software is developed by practising teachers of modern languages, and all voices are native speakers.

SEMERC

Now part of Granada Learning, SEMERC was originally established in 1982 by the Department of Education. The role of SEMERC (Special Education Micro Electronic Resource Centre) was to support teachers in implementing technology to aid pupils with special needs.

This is a very friendly service which provides lots of assistance to help you find SEN resources.

Situated in a converted seventeenth century coaching inn at the centre of the picturesque village of Sherston, in the southerly tip of the Cotswold Hills, Sherston Software was founded by primary teachers Lou and Bill Bonham in 1984.

They produce a wide range of quality literacy, numeracy and other software.
