This list is dating now, but these are all books I've found useful whilst supporting students with specific learning difficulties (dyslexia.) They contain good, practical teaching ideas and valuable background material on the theoretical issues surrounding dyslexia.

For books to use with students look at "Reading, Spelling and Handwriting" books.
