Current and historic weather data may be viewed from this page for the old mill town of Bacup, Lancashire, UK.

The data is gathered using Davies Vantage Pro 2 weather station sited at a height of 950ft / 290m asl.

The current weather is usually live for around 12 hours each day, but this does vary. Updates are usually at 15 minute intervals.

Wind direction data should be treated carefully prior to 01/10/11 as there was shelter on the station from westerly and northerly winds and so wind data is only valid for comparison with itself before 01/10/11.
